Terms of Use
Facilities provided.
You may use the car park, grounds, Courtyard garden area, Pavilion, Warehouse & Entertainment Wing and with our prior consent the front of the main house and side gardens of the Venue. All our accommodation is reserved for guests attending the wedding of the day, such rooms to be allocated by the client and pre paid by the client in full at least 4 weeks before the wedding in addition to the remaining hire fee. We kindly ask that rooms be vacated by 10.30am the following day. Breakfast is included in the hire of the bedrooms. Saturday's breakfast is usually a continental style breakfast unless prior arrangements have been made.
Facilities not provided.
Music, decorations, place settings, wedding cake, master of ceremonies, place names, seating plans, menus are not provided by us. We offer introductions to other recommended suppliers although we cannot accept responsibility for the services provided by any outside suppliers.
We recommend that all our clients take out Wedding Insurance for their event. The offer comprised in this Agreement is valid for a period of 14 days from the date above.
Additional Rights and Obligations.
Cars may be left overnight at owner's risk. You may appoint outside suppliers to provide other services such as music and flowers on condition that such suppliers hold Public Liability insurance of not less than £2 million and that any portable electrical appliances they supply are PAT certified and that you can produce evidence of this to Alrewas Hayes Events Limited if required. By entering this Agreement, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure cover is in place and you agree to indemnify us for any loss, claim, expense, damage or liability which we incur as a result of such cover not being in place.
You, your agents and your suppliers may have access to the premises from 10AM on the Date. In addition, providing no conflicting events are taking place on the premises, you may also have access for decorating and making other arrangements on the day proceeding the Date. Deliveries may be made during the preceding week by prior arrangement with us, and we will store such items at your risk. Your personal belongings and those of your suppliers must be removed from public areas by 10AM the following day, if another event is scheduled or by 12 NOON on the following day if not. We can provide removal and storage if required.
Guests must comply with all legal requirements relating to all licensing regulations, and we ask that guests leave quietly and respect the needs of local residents. For the sake of safety, swimming is prohibited and smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings. Guests must comply with the reasonable requirements of management for the preservation of safety, law and order. Only organic confetti comprising of rice, lavender seeds or flower petals may be used. The management has the right to refuse entry of any person or to require any person to leave the premises for any reason and in particular in the event of inappropriate behaviour or on the grounds of any health and safety reason. For Health and Safety reasons children must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times unless a fully regulated créche is in operation. We reserve the right to require parents or guardians of unsupervised children to remove them from the premises.
Liabilities.
Alrewas Hayes Events Limited carries public liability and employer's liability insurance. As the hirer you are fully liable to pay for any damages, breakages or injury caused by yourselves, your agents or guests other than where caused by our negligence. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or restricts our liability for death, or personal injury arising from our negligence.
Terms.
The venue hire fee payable to AJ & EB Gilmour is £ of which a non-returnable deposit of £1000 is payable on booking. Half the remaining balance is payable twenty six weeks before The Date and the final remaining balance payable in full four weeks before The Date (in addition to the charge for any accommodation which you may have booked, civil ceremony fee and the Lighting, audio and equipment package payable directly to Alrewas Hayes Events ltd). You may cancel the agreement at any time, but all monies paid or due to date will be non-refundable. Alrewas Hayes Events Limited will be entitled to terminate the Agreement if any sums are outstanding by more than 14 days. If, because of circumstances beyond our control, we are obliged to cancel the event, we will refund in full all monies, including the deposit, received to date under this agreement.
Changes. Any changes to this agreement will only be valid if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Alrewas Hayes Events Limited.
Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
